Solicitation N00421-13-T-0493 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a Firm Fixed-Price basis and to solicit/negotiate the proposed purchase order on Sole Source basis with Cambium Networks under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13, and 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business set-a-side. Cambium Networks is the manufacturer of PTP45600 TACAN Trailer and Remote with no preferred distributor or reseller. The Cambium licensed Point to Point (PTP) solutions provide reliable, secure, cost effective connectivity that is easy to deploy even in the most demanding environment and their trademark Dynamic Spectrum Optimization (DSO) resists interference and signal fading required for the Marine Corps AN/TRN-47(V) Tactical Air Navigation Modernization project. The 45600 PTP Radio Frequency link already has spectrum approval through the Department of Defense and the National Telecommunication and Information Administration (NTIA). Utilizing a source other than Cambium would require conducting new testing and approval from DOD and NTIA at a significant cost to the government. Requirement is for Exact Match Only (MFR/Part Number, Model Number, etc.); ONLY New Equipment, NO Remanufactured, and all items must be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Similar or Substitute products will not be accepted.
