The Agency requires the construction and installation of a new Doppler VOR at the Pasco Airport in Pasco, WA
In general, this contract requires the following:
The work covered under this specification includes the installation of one Doppler Very High Frequency Omi directional Radio Range (DVOR) and the demolition of one conventional VOR and site restoration including all associated duct banks, hand holes, transformers and power racks serving the Tri Cities (Pasco) Airport.
As a part of the project, the following options will be in effect:
â¢æ¢ Replacement of the PSC 30 PAPI PCA rack disconnect switch and new TVSS. A new powerline which includes boring under a taxiway, concrete and steel reinforced concrete duct banks to the PSC 30 PAPI PCA with new power rack.
â¢æ¢ Demolish and relocation of the wind instrument (WEF) to the new DVOR site. Work includes all work at the new DVOR site as per the plans and demolition of the old WEF site including underground duct banks.
â¢æ¢ Demolition and relocation of the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) to the new DVOR site. Work includes all work at the new DVOR site as per the plans and demolition of the old DME site including underground duct banks.
â¢æ¢ Demolition of the old VOR site which will include the shelter, foundations, all above ground structures, all power coming and leaving the site. Demolition of the PAPI and VOR duct banks call for complete removal of the duct bank with compacted backfill. Note: The existing access road and site gravel can remain.
This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Businesses must be a small business in accordance with the following NAICS CODE: 237130: Power and Communication lines and related Structures, with a size standard of $33.5 Million.
