GIT/6 resulted in the GIT delegate's reviewing the midterm progress of MITRE's work on the APEC GIT Regional Navigation Feasibility Study (ARNFS). The feasibility study grantee, Aerothai, also presented a status report of progress made to date. There was significant discussion on the ARNFS by Economies resulting in some changes being incorporated in the draft regional navigation feasibility study. There was discussion on the TDA funded APEC GNSS Regional Test Bed. The TDA funded GNSS Test Bed grantee, Aerothai, presented technical information concerning the administration and implementation of the GNSS Test Bed that is planned for 2005. 

GIT/7 will include discussions on the selection process and company that has been selected to implement the TDA funded APEC GNSS Regional Test Bed Project. This GNSS test bed project was recently discussed at the last APEC GIT/6 Meeting in Phuket, Thailand. The draft of the final report for the APEC Regional Navigation Feasibility Study will be reviewed during the GIT/7 Meeting.
