GIT/5 resulted in the GIT delegate¡¯s hearing MITRE review the progress of the APEC GIT Regional Navigation Feasibility Study. The feasibility study grantee, Aerothai, also presented a status report of progress made to date. Several multi-modal GNSS experts from university, private industry and government made presentations on marine time, land transport and geodetic use of GNSS. 

GIT/6 will have new information on near term plans from INMARSAT as they relate to the Asia/Pacific region. Information will be provided on flight inspection of BARO/VNAV approach procedures. All APEC Economies will have an opportunity to present reports on current status of GNSS implementation.
