The agreement was signed by Mr. Patrick Dlamini, ATNS CEO and Mr. Manuel de Ceita – President of the Angolan ENANA Administration Board, on Friday, 6th June 2012, at the ATNS Head Office in Bruma, Johannesburg.
The MoU covers Training, Billing and Collection, Airport Surveying and Maintenance, Flight Procedure Design, Central Aeronautical Database (CAD) among others. It also entails professional services offered by ATNS which include Communications, Navigations and Surveillance (CNS) planning, Engineering Projects Implementation and Management, Air Traffic Management (ATM) Systems data set management and ATM/CNS Audit.
"The harmonization of the airspace is a concrete way of improving the smoothness and cost-efficiency of the entire air traffic service chain. Ultimately, this benefits airlines and air passengers. ATNS is happy that there is good cooperation between the service providers in the countries involved¡± said Mr Patrick Dlamini.
Since the beginning of the year, ATNS has signed cooperation agreements with two leading global Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), namely ENAV and Airways New Zealand.

¡°This agreement has its foundation on a very successful collaboration on training and other Air Traffic Services that has been existence for quite some time - between the two entities. We will work together on a range of other activities and projects – that will see the realization of safer African skies dream, which is not far-fetched¡± said Mr de Ceita.
